What this Special Offer Includes

30-Minute Consultation

When you come in for your first treatment, we'll go through a in-depth process to uncover your history.  This allows me to better understand the root causes of your issues so I can create the best treatment.

30-Minute of Acupuncture

After the consultation, we'll start with an acupuncture treatment session.  I'll immediately start working to address the issues or pains that you described to me.

30-Minutes of Massage

Once your mind and body are relaxed after acupuncture, you will then receive a soothing massage to rid any knots and blockages so that you can feel loose and your body can move more freely.
Benefits of Acupuncture
Acupuncture utilizes specialized techniques and placement of fine needles (thinner than human hair!) to help the body's natural healing system.  We address a variety of pains and issues throughout the body by opening pathways for improved blood and energy flow.
No Harmful Chemicals or Drugs
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) does not use harmful and dangerous drugs that are common today.  Instead, we focus on natural herbs as medicine and utilizing the body's internal mechanisms to help ourselves heal rather than introducing synthetic chemicals into our system.
How Does It Work?
Your first visit will include a consultation so Dr. Jaz can learn more about your condition, pains, discomforts. etc.  It's a thorough process so she can understand the root causes and how to properly address them in the most effective way possible.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jaz. I've been working with her for a few years, and
it has helped change my life--physically and emotionally--in profound ways. I am more in
control of my body and mind, better understand the workings of my anatomy, and simply feel healthier."
Meet Dr. Jacintha "Jaz" Roemer
I have been an Asian Massage Bodywork Therapist since 2005.

I specialize in an ancient
Chinese Medical abdominal massage called Chi Nei Tsang. I traveled to study with Taoist Master Mant,ak Chia, completing a 4 week teacher-training course and have been a Certified
Universal Healing-Tao Instructor since 2008.

I have completed a 4-yr MSTOM (Masters of Science and Oriental Medicine) degree and a graduate of the DACM (Doctorate of Chinese
Medicine) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in 2017.

In 2013 I did an intensive
internship at the Chengdu TCM University & Hospital in Chengdu, China.
Having been born with a genetic defect in my heart got me interested in the body, how it works and how to manage my lifestyle in order to live in optimal health.

Learning the power of touch,
through massage and physical contact, led me into the bodywork profession.

Resonating with
ancient cultural philosophies, I found that Taoism aligned the most with how I was experiencing the world.

Exploring this tradition led me to Traditional Chinese Medicine and learning the important role our organs play with emotions is another unique perspective to address issues with the body.

Through breathing, meditation, Qigong,
nutrition, self-massage, acupressure points, yoga and visualization techniques, I provide resources that patients can use on their own in their daily lives.

Her office is a sanctuary of healing, hope, peace, listening, and love. Dr. Jaz defines, to me,
what a health care professional should be. She listens, she encourages, she guides but without
a stitch of judgement, and she meets me where I am. Dr. Jaz is is always there for me, and I
will certainly always be there for her, because as she has taught me, health and healing
requires partnerships, and in my partnership with Dr Jaz, I have someone who I can trust with
with my life". - Chuck E.
I have been receiving treatments from Jaz Roemer, aka Jaz Hands, and each time I leave
seeing the world in a better light. She is a kind and caring soul and has a gentle, effective style
that chases my stress and aches away each time. The clinic is also gorgeous and has a full
herbal pharmacy. Thank you Jaz!!" - T.I.
Commonly Asked Questions
How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture uses the concept that we have energetic pathways called Meridians where Qi or  "energy" flows. After we do a thorough intake at the beginning of the session, feel your pulse and look at your tongue, I am able to determine where there may be blockages in that flow of energy.  I can use the acupuncture points to adjust the flow of energy to help you get out of pain or discomfort and back to living life in optimal health.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is a form of martial arts. "Qi" means energy , "gong" means work. You are basically  doing energy work. That can be in many forms, it's most commonly seen in Tai Chi--the slow moving martial art. However it can be done standing, sitting or laying down. Some of the movement happens internally in a meditation or visualization.
How can Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) help me?
CNT is an ancient Chinese Medical Abdominal massage. It works on detoxifying the organs  and processing emotions. In Chinese Medicine, we believe that the organs not only process food, but emotions as well.

For example, there is a phrase about having a "gut feeling" about something. We have a gut feeling before we have a "brain feeling". If you have an organ imbalance, it may show up in your body as an emotional issue, and vice versa--if you have an emotional issue, it may show up in the organs. This massage works on balancing the relationship between the two.
